Designing your home.
This is where your home takes on its soul. You’ll sit down with our team to select your colour palette, selecting from our premium swatches and materials.

SITE FEASIBILITY
Viewing your site.
Our team conducts a thorough site assessment and aims to fully understand your wants & needs of your new home and site.
This includes everything you will need like :

Check Site Access.

Check Site Location.
-
Check Boundaries & Finished Levels for your site.

Check Services ( Like Water / Power / Drainage).
-
Confirm Landscaping , Decking , Patios & Driveways.

We discuss this with you & confirm which consultants we may need to make sure we comply with your local building authority, such as:

COntract + Deposit
Reviewing your contract.
Once your vision is locked in, we prepare a clear, detailed contract with a summarised cost breakdown for your review.

Once your happy!
We include our standard payment terms, start dates, and estimated completion timelines to give you total certainty.
At this time, we request 10% deposit upon signing to secure your place in our build schedule.

Our Architect
Drawing your plans.
The dream home begins. Our architects and engineers collaborate on detailed drawings tailored to your site’s specific conditions, such as wind zones and typography.
Within approximately 4 weeks, you’ll receive a first draft for review before we finalize the plans for consent.

BUILD
Building begins.
Your SALT home starts to take shape! Within 2–4 weeks, the frames are erected in our controlled manufacturing hub, and you’re invited to visit and see the space come together.
Most of our bespoke builds are completed within 16–20 weeks of council consent approval.

Consents
Getting approvaed.
We navigate the bureaucracy for you. Typically, two consents are required:

One for the modular building and;

One for the site-specific land aspects.
​​
We manage this entire process, which generally takes between 4 to 8 weeks*.

Project Managment
Managing your project.
You’re never in the dark.
Our project management team oversees every moving part of the construction, providing you with client portal online to check on updates & progress ensuring our high standards of craftsmanship are met at every milestone.

You will be also invited to come & visit to check and approve every stage to ensure you are happy with progress.

Delivery + Installation
Your home is ready for delivery.
The most exciting milestone. Your modules are precision-loaded and transported to your site.
The SALT site team meet the modules on-site to complete the installation and any final landscaping works.
Depending on scope of work planned, this may take anywhere from 1 day to 4 weeks to complete your home's final exterior touches.

Once everything is completed. We invite you for a final walkthrough to make sure everything is perfect!

Once your happy. Your home is 100% ready to move in.

Defects Warranty
Mantaining your home.
Our commitment to quality doesn't end when you get the keys.
We offer our clients options from 1 to 3 year comprehensive defects period to ensure everything is functioning perfectly.
If any minor adjustments are needed as you settle in, our team is on hand to resolve them promptly, ensuring your home meets our exacting standards for years to come.
